Happy almost-2014, y'all! Here are a bunch of tidbits, arranged like a salad:

Baltimore this weekend!

If you were planning on coming to the last Bmore Into Comics event (which was snowed out), here's your second chance to make it! We'll be at The Wind-Up Space in Baltimore this Saturday from 12-5, drinkin' and drawin' and sellin' stuff! Come join us!

New Jersey!

And I'll be in central Jersey at one of my favorite comic book shops, Wild Pig Comics in Kenilworth, NJ, on Saturday, January 18th to sign books, including (but not limited to) my newest Adventure Time graphic novel! Times and details coming soon; I just want you to put it on your radar. :)

Sex Toys!

Remember that rad 20% off code that Jimmyjane and I shared last week? Well, we're extending it to January 2nd, so if you were afraid you'd missed it, congratulations! A 20% cheaper high-end sex toy can be in your near future. Just use the code JJLUVSGWS at checkout!

Gluten-Free Cookies!

If you, like me, were salavating at the pear and ginger cookie recipe I posted last week, but are gluten-intolerant, please send Anna all your thank-yous because she sent me this. Enjoy.

ZOMG I cured cancer cookies*
1 c Grated Pear (2-3 pears of your choice)
1 c Sugar
1/2 c Butter
1 Egg
3/4 c Sweet Sorghum Flour
1 1/4 c White Rice Flour
1/2 t Salt
1/4 t Nutmeg
1/2 t Cinnamon
1/2 t Cloves
1 t Baking Soda
1 t Xanthan Gum
1 c Golden Raisins
1/2 c Crystallized Ginger
1/2 c Chopped Walnuts (optional)

Grate pears and add baking soda, set aside. Cream together sugar, butter, and egg until fluffy. Add pears and sift in flours, spices, and xanthan gum. Incorporate raisins, ginger, and nuts.
Use a tablespoon sized scoop to place dough on a lined or greased baking sheet. These do not spread like cookies baked with ordinary flour, so the size of scoop you use will be the size of cookie you get. Bake for approximately 18 minutes at 350 degrees.
Yields roughly two dozen amazing cookies.

*Cancer claims not proved.... yet.
