Earlier this year, I was given the opportunity to romanticize the comics medium in an eyeroll-worthy manner in front of a camera for Dave Kellett and Fred Schroeder's documentary, Stripped.

No really, I probably sounded like a 7th-grader talking about her first love. Which is pretty close to the truth. Luckily, Dave and Fred have already proclaimed this film "a love-letter to the art form," so I'm in good company.

They started up a Kickstarter site for it days ago, and they've nearly reached their goal, but I wanted to link to it in case you're itching to be one of the comic-lovers who helps the film grow legs (aka pay for post-production).

Give the trailer a look, and check out the incentives on the right. Let's give the comics medium all the swooning motion-picture love it deserves!
