Sweepy.

Sorry guys, I just got home from a long, wonderful weekend in Stone Harbor, NJ with some fantastic friends whom I missed, and I've been passing out for hours while trying to work! I'll make it up to you later in the week.

In the meantime, perhaps you'd enjoy perusing the work of said friends? They're all rather talented! Indulge.

Comic Geek Speak. The lovable Comic Geek Speak guys have been running their comics podcast since 2005. Murd was our humble host for the weekend, and Pants (yes, these are names) even took time to record a little clip of all of us while we were there. If you're inclined, give it a listen! I gave a brief wrap-up of Things To Come for GWS, and you get a nice little overview of what everyone else is up to.

All New Issues. I've raved about them before, but if you don't know, Dani and Bill are the talent behind GWS's cousin comic (literally: Robyn is Hazel's cousin) All New Issues. There's an archive of over 200 strips now and they've just released their first book, which they'll be selling at Baltimore in a couple of weeks! This is a great time to start at the beginning and pore through the archives; it's just the right amount of strips to give you a solid start, but not too many to eat up your entire day. :)

Wild Pig Comics. Chris is the man I can thank for introducing me to everyone involved in this weekend adventure. You may remember his comic book shop, Wild Pig Comics, in Kenilworth, NJ, because I've done signings there for eons. Well, Chris closed up shop a couple of years ago, and is now re-opening it in the same location! I'm heartbroken that I won't be there to celebrate the re-opening (I'll be at SPX), but you should drop by if you're free September 15 & 16! There's no entry fee and Chris raffles off a TON of prizes (also mentioned in the above CGS audio clip).
